Because it has high protection performance. Its texture is hard and not easy to scath.The surface is smooth, looking more beautiful and easy to clean. Besides, since marble is natural material, it is environmental and friendly. Regaring of supporting base,we use stainless steel in different shapes,fixed by multiple screws.
